Important Info

Important Info Regarding Inner Line Pass/Permit(ILP)
An inner Line pass (LIP) is required to enter mizoram if not a resident of Mizoram, you can get it online before reaching mizoram or upon arrival at Airport or station. However as a student you might be exempted to pay the fees by showing your admission letter/Student Id Card(after it is issued by NIT Mizoram) but your parents/relatives must get it before or after entering Mizoram.
👉 Our suggestion: get it on arrival, just keep some official documents like pancard and aadhar with you, it is a simple procedure.

Q: Is It Allowed For Parents To Stay In Hostel?
A: No, Only Students Are Allowed To Stay In The Hostel
Q: Will There Be buses from block 8 to hostel?
A: Yes, buses will operate from Block 8 to the hostel according to the scheduled timings for luggage transportation.
Q: Does nit mizoram have a permanent campus?
A: No, but the construction of the permanent campus is currently in progress.
Q: Do boys and girls have co-ed hostel?
A: no, there are separate hostels for boys and girls for each year, at min distance of 5km
Q: Can vegetarians survive in hostels?
A: Yes, vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are prepared separately using different utensils.
